What is pastel art?

Pastel drawing is a versatile and captivating art form that has been practiced for centuries, since the Renaissance, and gained considerable popularity in the 18th century, when a number of notable artists made pastel their primary medium. It involves the use of soft, powdered pigments in various colors that are applied to a surface, typically paper, using different techniques. The result is a vibrant and rich artwork that captures the subtle nuances of color and texture.

One of the remarkable aspects of pastel drawings is their ability to create a wide range of effects, from delicate and ethereal to bold and expressive. About my drawing style

My style of art is photo realistic drawings, which pastels are perfect for.  I am aiming to create art that reflects the beauty and power of humans in a society in constant development.
